Lindsay Lohan Channels Marilyn Monroe in The Last Sitting

In 1962, photographer Bert Stern shot Marilyn Monroe in a series of nude photos known as “The Last Sitting.” The current issue of New York Magazine reveals that Stern has put a contemporary spin on these famous photographs. This time Lindsay Lohan sits in Monroe’s place.Monroe first showed us her luscious curves in 1953 when she graced the cover of Playboy Magazine. Ever since then, Monroe has unquestionably become identified as the ultimate sexpot. Following Monroe's footsteps, Lohan says that making the decision to pose nude for Stern was a no-brainer. She comments, “I didn’t have to put much thought into it. I mean, Bert Stern? Doing a Marilyn shoot? When is that ever going to come up? It’s really an honor.” What is more, Stern reveals that “not more than fifteen minutes had passed since she’d arrived, and already she had agreed to take her clothes off!” Check out the full New York magazine article and Stern’s sizzling photographs.
