Ok, even we will admit there was a little bit of sappiness in this week’s BROOKLYN KINDA LOVE. But isn’t that what romance is all about? Sure there’s fights, sex, and wild nights out, but there’s also cuddling, affection, and dare we say it…LOVE (it is in the title after all). And if there’s one thing that the Finale taught us, it’s that the love between our four couples is still incredibly strong. Sure Braniff and Frances have had major blowouts, but how adorable was it to see them looking at that wedding dress through the window? Frances even got a little choked up thinking about marriage, getting a home, and raising little Braniffs. Despite all of the turmoil we’ve seen between these two, we are definitely rooting for them to make it.

It’s amazing how fast life moves sometimes. Just a few weeks ago, our four BROOKLYN KINDA LOVE couples were enjoying a carefree life in the city. Cut to Episode 8 and we’ve got news about nuptials and potential baby plans! Could there be some shockers in store for this month’s season finale? You’ll have to keep watching to find out. As for now, Bek and Erin seem awful giddy about that backyard wedding. Will they be able to keep up the romance until the “I Do’s?” By the episode’s end, we’re not so sure! It looks like someone in the relationship hasn’t been telling the whole truth. Oh yea, Erin is PISSED. Let’s hope Bek (or at least one of their cute puppy dogs) can calm down the situation. And what’s up with Vinny and Rhiannon talking about parenthood? Just last week we saw her indulging in some “no-no” nose powder. Is she really ready to handle a pregnancy at this point?

We’d like to think of BROOKLYN KINDA LOVE’s Episode 6 as somewhat of a game changer. Bek and Erin broke out the tears over the “waxing” ordeal, Frances and Braniff finally let another girl into their bedroom, and Rhiannon seemed ready to slip back into substance abuse! So, what were the repercussions of all that? Episode 7’s got the answers. First off, Bek and Erin got quite a lot of screen time this week, which led to some interesting revelations. Bek had briefly brought up her “strict upbringing” before, but now we got some insight into just how harsh it was. Coming from a family of self-described “Jesus freaks,” Bek had a tough time coming to terms with her sexual identity. She shared an emotional story about her first girlfriend and all of the efforts that her parents took to keep them apart. Erin seemed to lighten the mood a little, dressing up as the holy man for their wild Halloween party. Nikki and Chris brought up issues that we all can identify with – money.

Every now and then, worlds do collide on Playboy TV. Maybe you’ll see NAUGHTY AMATEUR HOME VIDEOS’ host Vikki Ikki at the BEACH HOUSE or PLAYBOY RADIO’S Andrea Lowell popping up on SHOOTOUT, but what about BROOKLYN KINDA LOVE? Well, this week’s episode might as well have been featured on our new series, SWING! Oh yea, Chris and Nikki had some serious couple-swapping adventures in this episode. But is it only one-sided? She sure seemed excited at first, but once things got real steamy in that swingers club, Nikki wanted out! What’s Chris take on it all? We’re still not completely sure. And what did you think about that BBQ that Vinny and Rhiannon were at? Did we hear somebody say “marriage?!” Amazing, right? Between the abortion talk, substance abuse, and screaming matches, these two DEFINITELY deserve their own Playboy TV mini-series. No Bek and Erin this time, but next week promises the long-awaited “waxing” episode! Will Bek really do it? And how much of it will she let us film?!
